As usual, the SR500 Club National Rally will be held at the Bethanga Recreation Reserve. Bethanga is about 20km east of Albury/Wadonga, making it central for NSW, ACT and Victorian riders. It also explains why SA and WA riders always win the “longest distance” award but it’s worth the effort.
Entry is $15 pre-paid (PO Box 500, The Patch, 3792 by November 4) or $20 on site.
All bikes and riders are welcome so feel free to bring your mates.
The Friday night meal is usually at the nearby Courthouse Hotel but full catering including a bar is available at the campground, as are hot showers. Local service and sporting clubs run the catering and it is both delicious and cheap.
Events include a Granya Gap ride and a concourse where you’ll see an outstanding display of SR500s in stock and special form. 2Wheels editor Groff will be there to present the awards.
There is plenty of camping space and wood at the rally site.
