If only the Libs do us a favour and oppose this crap... I don't think they will. They'll get too much mileage out of it fucking up.

Anyone wishing to help fight the anti-filter cause should join the Pirate Party of Australia. Fighting this filter is one of our top priorities. We need 500 members to be registered as a political party, only about 70 to go. Membership is normally $20 but in an effort to reach to 500 target by the end of the month we are offering free membership! To join go to http://www.pirateparty.org.au/join and download the application form. In the payment details section, simply put "WAIVED as per mikec". Fill in the rest and fax or email the form to 02 80881346 or membership@pirateparty.org.au. If you're hesitant to be officially associated with the party (I really want to change the name, it mis-represents our cause), you may wish to make a donation instead.

Conroy's internet censorship agenda slammed by tech giants"Australia's biggest technology companies, communications academics and many lobby groups have delivered a withering critique of the government's plans to censor the internet. The government today published most of the 174 submissions it received relating to improving the transparency and accountability measures of its internet filtering policy. Re: Nocleanfeed.com (Important) - Internet Censorship discussion
A new low for Australia and censorship. Quote: the Australian Classification Board (ACB) is now banning depictions of small-breasted women in adult publications and films. It comes just a week after it was found that material with depictions of females ejaculating during orgasm are now Refused Classification and Australian Customs directed to confiscate it.
“Why ban small boobs? I can only assume it stems from paranoia that flat chests somehow stir up the pedophiles. And you only need to mention that “p” word to start a full-scale moral panic in Parliament. Shall we put such hysteria aside and look at what this ruling is saying to Australian women? Basically, it’s classing a certain normal female body type as obscene. It’s declaring all flat chests to be automatically juvenile, something that should not be viewed by anyone because of a fear that it will stir up “base instincts” in certain people. Can the Classification Board be any more insulting or sexist?”
Content Refused Classification will be blocked to Australian adults under the Government’s planned Internet censorship scheme.
“There are over one million sites featuring female ejaculation and for Australia to be banning depictions and discussion of this important issue, takes us back into the Victorian era where they didn’t even believe that women could have orgasms.” Full article http://www.somebodythinkofthechildren.com/australia-bans-small-breasts/
