Where do you get em from Dala?

I used to buy them from Ian, runs this site, helped me out alot with the VFR. If you can't source one locally he's good.

He's moved to QLD now and i needed one just before the Rally so i went into my local bike shop and picked one up for the same price. If the BMW has a funny shaped visor it may be worth holding one up to it first to make sure they fit, they have two different sizes/shapes, one for a universal fitment and one for arai's that are a different shape or something, not sure if they are smaller or bigger, i've used the universal/shoei shape on a agv,kbc and nitro helmets

My visor didn't fog up on the inside at all when we were coming back from bathurst, or the whole weekend for that matter, just had to deal with the crap on the outside and then the tint + shit headlight in the low light conditions at the end, i would definately reccomend one for you, as you were saying, if you flick up your visor to clear it of fog, you get rain on your glasses then you have two layers of distorion, you won't need to open your visor with this.

Just make sure the visor is clean when you fit it as any marks on the inside of the visor won't be able to be cleaned once this is on and take time alignin it and making sure where you stick it on doesn't foul seals ect when the visor is closed.
Postie bikes are the shit!

One that came to me this morning

Dumbasses sometime hunt in packs, just because you spotted one idiot about to pull out on you, doesn't mean there isn't one about to rear end you cause you slowed down.

On the fogging issue, I bought myself a Foggoff ninja mask thingy the other day. Absolutely brilliant. keeps your neck and face warm and at the same time directs your breath out of your helmet and away from the visor.

After fitting the pin lock anti fog visor I wouldn't recommend it. It won't seal properly-you have to keep pushing it upwards to seal and every time the visor is moved up or down the seal breaks. Coming home the other day into the westerly sun I found that with the sun in the "right" place caused it to scatter the light in a starburst in the middle of it. (Did think later I should have cracked the visor to get rid of the problem but I was coming off the freeway and didn't have enough hands :-( )

Ma ...Puma brought back from Europe a Fog City Visor insert for both our helmets and we have found them to be the solution to any fog issues.
The only issue that I have found is a strange discoloration if wearing polarised sun glasses but the world can be interesting through colored glasses..

I can recommend Meguiar's Plastx - Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish for removing scratches from visors.
Did a great job of removing the scratch on mine. :D

Shoei nose and chin masks fit all helmets, its not something we think about but most stores carry them on the shelf and you can fit them straight onto most brands of helmets. Most Shoeis come with them in the box but some stores will sell you a helmet in a bag (if that) and keep alll the accessories in the box.

Are you SURE Officer ? I dont think this bike will GO that fast.

Usually I ride the bike to have fun, but hey, if pushing buttons is your thing, then go nuts.

Yeah, riding is fun. But having a car pull out in front of you, because he thinks your turning, isn't as fun as riding past him.
